Symposium: Cyber Crime Prevention
was held on September 30, 2011!
The Cyber Crime Prevention Symposium is a unique and important opportunity for Middle school educators, parents, and students to learn about the dangers of the Internet and how to stay safe online.
A coalition of law enforcement agencies, child advocacy groups, private entities and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles are participating in the third annual Cyber Crime Prevention Symposium, a daylong seminar for more than 450 educators, parents, and middle and high school students being held at the California Endowment in Los Angeles.
The Symposium will address a wide range of Internet-related security and safety issues with panels conducting discussions on topics that include child exploitation, computer forensics, cyber bullying, “digital reputation,” smart phone safety and piracy.
