For over to 15 years, ICAN Associates has been one of the official charities of the Los Angeles Marathon. Each year, ICAN recruits runners, walkers and bicyclists to help raise money for the cause of child abuse prevention.  In addition, volunteers from all over Los Angeles County are recruited to cheer the athletes along the marathon route.  It's a wonderful community and family event for all ages!

The XXIII L.A. Marathon was be held on March 2nd, 2008.

We hope to see you again for next year's 24th Annual Marathon!

• We are looking for runners, walkers and bicyclists for the Marathon, 5K and Bike Tour help us raise money for ICAN Associates. (For those of you who love to run or walk short distances the 5K race is perfect for you!).

• We need volunteers! Volunteers will be asked to help in various ways such as passing water to the athletes, assisting in the raffle and distributing "goody bags" and t-shirts. The biggest responsibility as a volunteer is to have fun and cheer on the athletes!

• To help us raise additional funds for the organization we hold a raffle during this event. Help us make this fundraising activity successful by donating gifts items such as gift certificates, gift baskets, picture frames, stuffed animals, etc.
