ICAN Operations Meeting

The working group is a collaborative body composed of multi-agency representatives, including county departments, medical professionals, law enforcement, and various community partners. This diverse group convenes on the second Wednesday of each month to share expertise, coordinate efforts, and strengthen community response to critical issues. Each meeting features special presentations on timely and relevant topics, providing valuable insights that inform the group’s ongoing work. These sessions serve as a platform for sharing information, raising awareness, and fostering mutual understanding among the different sectors represented.

In addition to the presentations, meetings include a review of subcommittee activities, open discussions on emerging issues, and dialogue around current events affecting the community. Participants are encouraged to bring forward concerns or updates from their respective fields, ensuring that the group remains responsive and well-informed. The collaborative nature of the meetings allows for the development of specific recommendations and follow-up actions, aimed at improving services, addressing challenges, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of community initiatives. All meetings are open to participants and are designed to promote inclusive and productive dialogue.
